IPL Post Care
- Avoid sun exposure during course of treatments and 2-3 weeks afterwards.
- No self tanners or bleaching agents during the course of treatments.
- Apply Alumier hydration SPF 40 or Tizo3 SPF 40 if going outside even during short periods of sun exposure. Re-apply every 2 hours.
- Avoid hot showers, hot tubs, saunas and strenuous working out.
- A cool compress or aloe vera may be applied for the first 2-3 days to reduce discomfort.
- Avoid waxing, surgaring, plucking, threading or hair removal creams during course of treatments.
- Avoid touching, rubbing, peeling or picking the treatment area.
- Avoid physical or chemical exfoliants (AHAs, BHAs, retinol) A gentle moisturizer is encouraged
